Tribute To Rosalie, introduced by Joan Roberts in 2008, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 34 inches tall with an early bloom and occasional rebloom reported in some regions. The standards are soft apricot with a red-violet blush along the midrib, while the falls have an apricot ground heavily overlaid with red-violet blush, plicata-style markings, and streaking, finished with a darker red-violet edge. Apricot beards tipped in white add a soft highlight. Notably fragrant with a pronounced spicy scent, this variety stands out for its rich, layered color pattern and complexity. Bred from an Innerst seedling crossed with Carnival Song. Named as a tribute to Rosalie Figge, as it was a favorite seedling that inspired its introduction.
