Trumped (Burseen 2007) TB HM AM FG

Trumped was introduced by Tom Burseen in 2007 and grows to about 35 inches tall, blooming from midseason to late. The standards are white with a saffron yellow base, while the style arms are light blue white with strong feathered saffron yellow tips. The falls are rich plum purple with lighter washed edges and a cream toned center, highlighted by strong bronze hafts and a distinct dark line running from the beard down the center of the fall. The beards are thick bronze and the flowers are ruffled. This variety was bred from ‘Don’t Miss This’ crossed with ‘Starring’. It received the Honorable Mention in 2012, Favorite Guest award in 2013, and the Award of Merit in 2014.  Rebloom reported in: CA
