Volunteer Pride (Parkhill, 2004) TB HM

Volunteer Pride is a tall bearded iris introduced by Tom Parkhill in 2004, growing about 35 inches tall and blooming in the midseason garden. The blooms are a bright orange self, with standards and falls sharing the same warm orange coloring. Deep orange red beards provide a strong focal point at the center of the flower. The blooms carry a slight fragrance and show good substance on well formed stems. Volunteer Pride was bred from Hindenburg crossed with Good Show and received the Honorable Mention in 2009.
