Wonders Never Cease (Black 2007) TB HM FG AM

Wonders Never Cease was introduced by Paul Black in 2007 and grows to about 40 inches tall, blooming early to midseason. This elegant Tall Bearded iris opens with pristine white standards and falls that are anything but plain, with delicate plum rose lines and dots over the hafts that fade into a soft sanded wash toward the center and a near white rim that keeps the overall look fresh and airy. White beards tipped in yellow add a warm finishing touch. Beautifully ruffled and carrying a slight sweet fragrance, this one is a real showstopper. Bred from Time Will Tell crossed with a seedling of Dream of Gold and Epicenter. This variety received the Honorable Mention in 2009, the Favorite Guest award in 2009 and again in 2010, and the Award of Merit in 2011.
